I’m super excited to share this gorgeous, springtime Banff elopement from Erika Lagy Photography. From the wintery mountain backdrop to the amazing dress, beautiful bride and stunning spring bouquet, this elopement styled shoot has it all!
Springtime in the rockies is a welcome relief after a season of cold and snow. With warmer temperatures come a renewed outlook and the promise of still warmer days ahead. It’s a time of celebration and none more perfect than an intimate elopement. Erika Lagy Photography, took inspiration from the stunning landscape and spring season to produce this romantic spring shoot.
Flowers by Janie created a pretty floral crown and a soft, yet colorful bouquet as the perfect nod to the season. The beautiful bride wore a gorgeous Rue de Siene wedding dress from Calgary Bridal Boutique. The bohemian inspired dress was a beautiful complement to the floral crown, and the casual and romantic hair style created by The Pretty Haus. The groom was handsome in his suit from Ted Baker and his tie unified the overall look.
The imagery is simply breathtaking; we’re sure you’ll agree!
From Erika Lagy Photography
“My inspiration for the shoot came from the sudden popularity of mountain elopements. I’m new to Alberta, so I’m absolutely in love with the mountains and find the idea of a mountain elopement very intimate and romantic. We decided to shoot at Lake Minnewanka in Banff, since it is one of my favourite locations in the park. Janie did a beautiful job with the bouquet and flower crown. The weather had been warming up so the pink florals added a lovely touch of spring to a still wintery landscape. Jenna and her team at The Pretty Haus did a stunning job with hair and makeup! A big thank you to Flowers by Janie, The Pretty Haus team, our models: Devon & Travis, and Calgary Bridal Boutique for lending us such a beautiful dress.”
